Most Haas/Hass avocados I see now are from Chile.
Not as good as California's, but better than the ones from Florida.

But then again, that's just me -- my first avocado was a California avocado
from a friend's tree.
I was brought a sack full -- but didn't 'fully' appreciate them at the time.
