We are still here but as someone said, much of the US has had frost
and canning is over. My garden here in So. California is almost gone
but I still pick the odd tomato, a few green beans, beets, and chard.
Getting ready to plant cabbage for sauerkraut. Planting beets also to
can. Will ramp up canning for Christmas giving soon when cranberries
more available. I also hunt the forum for recipes and have a big file
of them. I also enjoy related articles having to do with canners,
jars, lids, clear jel, etc. What a "geek" huh? Jim in California
