I often eat alone, and have a table and chairs in my breakfast room...
nah, don't eat there... have a dining room table in dining room.....
nah don't eat there. I almost always eat either in front of the TV or
else the PC.

When I 'grab a bite,' I will sit sometimes in front of the TV or computer,
but seldom;
but if I have a 'plate' of food and am alone, I will always eat at the
dining room table in the dining room.
Even though it a fairly good sized room and the table is out at its fullest,
it is connected to the kitchen where there is no bar or kitchen table, so I
don't have much choice.
If I want to turn on a TV or radio I could, but I eat in silence and gaze
out the window. I never read at the table, although I used to years ago.
Actually I only eat two full meals a day (with a few social events in
between ;-)) ), so I always like to get the mileage out of them. If I do
something else while I'm eating, I haven't even been aware that I was
eating. What a waste of good fun.
