I'm not much of a photographer of food or anything else, but what a cool
idea! There are folks who enjoy taking pictures of food and others who
enjoy looking at the pictures.
Last summer we were in Fort Lauderdale where we found a French
restaurant we enjoyed and went back to. It was informal, and the tables
were close together. When flashes started going off, we couldn't help
but notice that the couple at the next table was photographing the food.
We didn't mean to eavesdrop, but we were seated so close that some
sort of explanation was in order. The woman explained that her date has
photographed everything he's eaten going back several years and has a
website to prive it. I suppose there are worse hobbies. I'm someone
who cuts up big pieces of fabric into little pieces of fabric, then sews
the little pieces back together into big pieces. One thing quilters
learn is never to make fun of what other people do in their spare time.
