Oh, no! I thought these were thistles for the birds. I haunt DH with
"don't pull these up.!" He says, "they take over."

Cardoons? We see these in empty fields near a city and I am very happy
because I think the gold finch will be eating very well - these seeds are
quite expensive to buy -- and then the squirrels always get them first.

Am I that special someone?
