TURTLE BROWNIES

Bag of caramels
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup butter
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup pecans
1 cup chocolate chips

Melt the caramels and the first portion of evaporated milk.
Combine the cake mix powder, butter, milk (2nd portion). Press
1/2 this mixture into an ungreased 9X13 baking dish. Bake at
350 F for 6 minutes. (will not be completely cooked). Remove
from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips, and pecans (saving
a few of each). Spoon on the remaining 1/2 of the cake mixture.
Top with the saved chocolate chips and pecans. Return to oven.
Bake an additional 15-18 min. Cool for 3-4 hrs. (from MickeyJ)
