Italy has cold, but no snow except in the mountains. I have to admit that
snowy photos give me a little nostalgic tug, but I'd just as soon not get
closer than a distant view of snowy peaks, thank you.
I was thinking yesterday how is it that Christmas and snow got connected in
our minds when most of the world doesn't have snow on December 25th, and in
particular Jeruselam. Must be the same influence that brought us an
evergreen tree inside the house!
