Not with megacorps. I had an issue with wachovia. I had numerous people
shaking their heads when I related the story.

I wrote a polite letter to the ceo/presidents/chairman's (same guy)
office explaining that their actions defied any logic and none of their
people who could be reached by phone did anything more than give me the
"we are megacorp and you are a little meaningless piece of crap so just
go away" line. A literate and polite woman called back and I explained
the scenario and she very, very politely told me that thats the way they
do things at megabank.
