Default Pasta Puttanesca with a twist

I had some left over diced tomatoes from the vegetable soup I made
yesterday so I made a pasta puttanesca with a little twist.
I pan fried some Sicilian style chicken sausage I had.

Pretty much the only thing I changed from a traditional puttanesca
sauce was adding the sausage.
Sauce ingredients, look close, the pasta is there, it's the same color
as the board.

I cooked the sauce in the juices from the sausage rather than the
healthier way of using olive oil.

In my defense, it_is _chicken sausage and most of the liquid in the
pan is water that I added to de glaze the pan with. <doing..shoulda
used wine>

I had this with a glass of merlot.
