Yes, I have noticed all of the above...

Well, 8 of them have started laying now, no double-yokes yet, but I'll
soon see.

I do that already - they love it.

Well, that egg was laid by "Flappy" - and she's one huge hen
(BTW, the "rule" in the picture is in centimeters, not inches)

So far I have come up with Flappy (as mentioned above) Daisy, Brownie,
Spotty, Polly (she thinks she's a parrot - she flies/jumps onto your
shoulder if you give her half a chance)... Petunia, Petal and Lily are
still learning to respond to their names, and I'm still working on the
names for the others... But "Hey Chicky, Chicky" seems to work too...
