One of the options would be to make a "cooked salad dressing" which is the
original base for Miracle Whip and proceed with the seasonings from there.

Try this and eliminate the egg and increase the butter or oil:

Cooked salad dressing
1 egg
1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1/4 lb. butter
2 tbsp. flour mix with water

Mix first 6 ingredients together and bring to a boil. Add flour and water.
