I tried a chocolate-chocolate chip cake recipe last summer that called for
german chocolate. It was good but not as good as if I'd used german
chocolate. I'd had the cake before when german chocolate was in it...I
noticed. But the cake was edible, very edible. It's up to you. It won't be
the same but it won't be inedible. Which you already knew.
