My prior statement stands. Absolutely nothing happened on July 21,
1948 with the exception of my birth, which may explain all the other
non-events. My birth was too much for one date in history to stand <g>
I mean, the noted birth on that date (besides mine) was some guy I
never heard of named Art Hindle of Nova Scotia who had a stage name of
Jeff Dallas, who I also never heard of. And the noted death on that
date was another guy I never heard of, Arshile Gorky, who my artist
daughter might have heard of, but is unknown to me.

And the second website added a birthdate for Garry Trudeau and the
start of some radio station in Toldeo OH.

OTOH, that does ramp up my chances of a mention in the "On This Date
In History" blurb in the LA Times...
