I really do not like recipes that requires a lot of ingredients that
I don't have or usually do not need (and like you said, also the
gadgets to make certain elements with). I tend to choose recipes for
things I enjoy but is limited to five or six ingredients, Being a
lover of pasta dishes, I collect Italian cookbooks that have very
simple recipes and one of my favorites is Mr. Food Cooks Pasta. The
recipes are so simple that if you have dry pasta in the house, you no
doubt have the other things too. Having said that, I still love to
look at all kinds of recipes, especially with pics of the finished
products. I will never make them, but it is fun to read about them and
their preparation. If it is something that after having seen I want to
try desperately, I will usually try to find a good restaurant that
offers it (but it better be under $20...for the whole meal!)
I like simple.
