Heh. Maybe you'll get lucky <veg>.
You did The Right Thing, IMHO. Not many landlords would give a damn, and
some would have just "got it working" and not worried about the "stink"
etc.... This way, she gets a new stove and you get a happy tenant.
Win-win situation.
