I usually use it raw in salads (do not eat leaves) or sliced and sprinkled
with Ancho Chile powder and lime.

hearts and such. Don't forget to try the spices, especially Epazote,
Culantro, Tamarind, Annatto, nutmeg, allspice( pimento),or sassafras
