You never read this paper, and it does not support your
claim. Humans - homo sapiens - was eating meat when
the species first appeared, and the predecessor
hominids had been eating meat as a staple element of
their diet for 2.25 million years before that.

Humans eat meat, and are biologically adapted to do so.
This is not in dispute, except by irrational "vegan"
extremists.
