You could also make a 'tonnato' sauce - I've made a mayonaise-like sauce
using oil, garlic , a can of tuna and a stick or standing blender - plus
whatever herbs and spices you like. That can be good put over noodles too -
especially with parmesan cheese and black pepper. You could even toss in
some of the vegetables after you made the sauce as well. That would leave
you with the cream of mushroom soup - but it didn't sound like you wanted to
eat that anyway.
