Put in the microwave for a 20-30 seconds at a time. When you can
stick your finger in it, take it out and break it up in a bowl or on
wax paper. Let sit on the counter until it cools. It should then
be manageable.

Or just buy some more sugar. It's what - about $.45/lb?
Or make some toffee or peanut brittle from it.
