I thought the linked article was pretty interesting but didn't care
for the author's repeated (ok, 2?) references to shame. The woman she
was profiling seemed to be doing just fine, living the way she wanted
to live, eating the best quality food that she could acquire. The
woman profiled in the article sounds quite resourceful, and the shame
element seemed to be inserted by the writer. Other than that, I
enjoyed the article.
