I checked out the link. You have to have milk and egg, the two most expensive
ingredients in a pancake recipe, though they are optional. That is my pet
peeve about pancake batter. The dry ingredients are flour, a bit of baking
powder, salt and sugar, which are cheap kitchen staples. It is the egg and milk
that cost. Oil is a minor cost.
