Totally agree. My bias toward thinking store brand was lesser quality
was built on the canned bean explanation from my youth but I have no
intention of purchasing canned green beans. I do however buy canned
chili beans, black beans, and kidney beans, etc that I find are good
quality and in some cases are available in store brands. I'm gathering
from the replies it is a hit or miss thing and also based on personal
taste. I do agree in a lot of cases if you compare the ingredients
they are very similar if not identical. I'm just trying to get over a
stupid childhood bias.
