Cube Steaks

I used cube steak for some rockin' chicken fried steak. Made a
wonderful country gravy with the pan "drippings" and served that over
the steak and mashed potatoes. Ummmm-Ummm good.
The breading would vary from simply seasoned flour to crushed
crackers. Mine wasn't batter dipped (other than the egg and milk
before rolling dredging the meat in the breading mixture).
Alas, I gave up frying things several years ago -- but my kids still
love requesting it when I visit.
