I've done that with chicken, too...very nice!
There are in addition to the Greek recipes many other Balkan,
Georgian, and Armenian recipes that make extensive use of yogurt...one
good chicken recipe that a friend made years ago IIRC used garlic,
lemon, yogurt, and walnuts. From the Caucasus I believe...
