And that makes perfect sense to me. Uric acid isn't isolated to only one
joint... it is found systemically so you probably do feel and recognize
(based on previous flare ups) an attack building up as the uric acid
crystals build up in the joints even though it is still at low level
(subclinical) presentation yet.
