The other thing about the Smartcar is that it isn't an insult. If you
bought a "low end" car at it's price from GM or Ford you would get some
poorly designed piece of junk. They are solidly built with great
attention to detail. The A/C worked well on a really sunny day even
though it has a sunroof.
