Default Olive oil with dried tomatoes

I bought a bottle in France. My best use for it has been to dip the
half loaf of this morning's baked bread into it before stuffing the
bread in my mouth.

Got any better ideas for the oil?
What do I do with the tomatoes when the bottle's empty? They don't come
out when I pour the oil. I suppose they would if the took the little
plastic cap gizmo off, though. Should I do that and hope some of the
tomatoes come out with the oil? And do what with that?
