here in the san gabriel valley, if you want "really fresh fish" you go
to one of the asian supermarkets and point to the fish in the tank,
that is still swimming around, and the fish guy will kill it & filet
for you or, stick the fish in a plastic bag for you to take home and
do it yourself.
