JoC is like Fanny Farmer or Settlement or McCalls
etc. They have lots of basic recipes, lots of useful
information, and don't claim to be haute cuisine.
If I need a crepe recipe, or banana bread, time
and temperature info for cooking a slab of critter,
I'll turn to them.
