mine must be kinda weak, according to the recipes i read - 4:1 tomato
juice to vodka instead of 2:1. it's more like a highball.
2 oz. vodka
8 oz. tomato juice
generous grinding of black pepper
approx. 1/8+ teaspoon dilled weed, rubbed between thumb and
forefinger
dash ground chipotle
dash celery salt
generous squirt lemon juice (i use the minute maid frozen)
small squirt nellie and joe's key lime juice
couple small glugs worcestershire
eight drops tabasco
approx. 1 teaspoon dill pickle juice
*
stir ingredients in a tall glass, add two ice cubes. replenish ice as
necessary.
sounds like a lot of trouble, huh?
(this may change, as i'm steeping some fresh dill in vodka to see how
that works.)
i used to make what i called a 'new wave mary' with a smaller amount
of tomato juice and just a tablespoon of lemon juice, if you don't
feel like spicy.
your pal,
blake
