The German one is superb, as is all the rest of the series. Beautifully
photographed and great recipes. Get them all

Companion to American Food and Drink: good choice. Yours truly has some
articles in there (under my real name, which I'm not telling LOL).
There is a concise version, which is the one they gave us!
