I can't make gravy to save my life... I know it's fairly simple in
theory but in practice it turns out runny, cold, lumpy, tasteless
and/or like glue. So I don't make it any more... funnily enough, I
have no problem at all making a white sauce or a cheese sauce - I just
can't do meat gravies!
