The only meatloaf I've ever had was made
by my father's mother. I never knew my
mother's mother, because she died when
I was about four or five. There is a picture
of her holding me when I was baby, but I
think that was the only time we ever met.

My grandmother's meatloaf, as I recall,
was palatable. But I've never been tempted
to make one myself.
