It's the only way to go *if* your freezer is in the basement near a
drain or out in the garage with a nice slope out the door *and* you
enjoy manual defrosting. I had one for years and it was an absolute
bear to defrost. I feel *no* nostalgia for it and I had optimum floor
conditions.
