Mine is on a second floor. No drain anywhere near. Cheap bamboo
parquet flooring. The only time I had a problem was a very long power
outage last summer and the floor got a little wet. You can't even see
it now. You can keep your auto-defrost and I'll keep my manual. And
my food much longer.
