That's why I usually cook my onions first before putting them into a potato
salad. As the potato salad sits and marries, I think the raw onion gets
overpowering.
My husband, OTOH, will sit down and eat a raw onion before going to bed.
That's not a breath you want to wake up to. Trust me on this one!
