Absolutely, and they definitely turn up there with some frequency.

Yes, that could happen easily enough, but I also do it to seal out the air.

I don't think my mom ever had a tub of margarine, so no collection of
those, but she had quite a few of these glass containers. Don't know what
happened to all of them, as I only managed to salvage one.
