In the U.S., all food additives are regulated by the FDA.
The Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended in 1958,
allows no level of any carcinogenic food additive.

You have much greater exposure to natural carcinogens
such as aflatoxins in peanuts and dried corn.
