Also near the Imperial was a place - Go-Mi-Hachen <sp>.

58 varieties of appetizers on a skewer dipped in batter and deep fried. Same
skewer for everyone - the choice was yes or no. Whenever you walked in that
is were you started. Nibble and drink and nibble and drink and nibble and
drink until you couldn't walk any more.

Tokyo has a lot of sensational little joints - Gardena CA as well for
Japanese food.
