I can see it getting ugly when using your fingers, too. Suppose you
bite a piece in half, do an incomplete job of it, and end up having to
go through additional adjustments to separate the piece that's in your
mouth from what's in your fingers. Could get messy and more
unattractive than the equivalent situation when using chopsticks. -
