I just remembered that my maternal grandmother, who as a kid grew up in a
home where German was apparently spoken along with English, used to call
that a (pronunciation only; I have no idea about the spelling)
shtoot-zuh. The oo is the oo in "book" or "look". If I hadda guess at
the spelling, it was probably something like schtutza.
