Repeating what I said in another thread, try the Penzey's Chicago
seasoning: salt, pepper, lemon peel, liquid smoke.

Last time I made almost the identical meal I ground up sirloin for the
patties. That let me add the butter, too, and I had a handful of
mushrooms to add to the gravy making. -aem
