I've got the Cook's Illustrated _Cover and Bake_ book on casseroles. I've
tried half-a-dozen recipes or so from it, and all have been FANTASTIC.
Truthfully, Cooks' Illustrated and I have only differed in opinions on one
thing: oatmeal cookies. (I prefer the Mrs. Fields recipe to the Cook's
Illustrated recipe.)

Really, though, for me it's redundant to have that cookbook, since I buy the
annual Cook's Illustrated hardbound collection of magazines each year. It's
less expensive than subscribing to the magazine, and it's easier to find
recipes in the hardbound collection because there's an index for the entire
year.

The recipes on the TV program all seem to be taken from the previous year's
magazines.
