They also sew the pigs' assholes shut about 72 hours prior to
slaughter just to make sure none of those tasty, tenderizing enzymes
are lost through shitting. You can imagine that sewing even a small
pig's asshole shut would be labor intensive. These 400 lb porkers
have to be held down by 6 strong men while this procedure is
performed. They can't anesthetize the pig, or the enzymes wouldn't
flow. Thus, this expensive treat is only enjoyed on special occasions
in Vietnam.

Please stop publicizing it so that those Westerners who have not yet
experienced pig rectum bliss can enjoy them.
