So silly. Why disable either, simply turn off their ringers... then
you can still receive voice mail that you can retrieve later. I don't
have a cell phone, for reasons I won't go into here, but I often turn
the ringer off on my land phone so it won't wake me up during the
night or for whenever else I don't want to be interrupted... upon
awakening in the morning if there are any messages I'll see the
message light flashing.
