Petfood is not THAT expensive compared to people food - I don't think
you'd actually save any money at all by feeding the little darlings
human food unless they're accustomed to eating the fancy super-premium
stuff. Our three cats do just fine on FancyFeast (55c a day) and
mid-range kibble ($5 every two weeks). If it came down to us or them
eating at all, I'd just have to find them a new home...
