You sure have some strange notions about the "right" way to do things
(remembering your ideas about the "right" way to cut up onions).

"Family-style" service is perfectly acceptable, especially when it's a
FAMILY MEAL. Even such a culinary luminary as Thomas Keller agrees, as
evidenced by his restaurant Ad Hoc in Yountville, where ALL the food is
served family-style.
