No. I make mine from scratch and you should, too. Take a
look at the ingredients some time, especially on the fat-free
ones. Yuck!
Get some buttermilk and add minced fresh garlic, freshly ground
pepper, and chopped fresh herbs. I like parsley, cilantro, and
chives. Because I have no problems with sodium, I add plenty
of salt. You might wish to add a bit of salt.
The result is a very tasty ranch dressing. If you like a thicker
dressing, add some reduced-fat sour cream.
A thinner dressing will cover more salad with less dressing than
will a thicker dressing.
