Because some times good pots, knives, and other accoutrement costs. <shrug>
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Le Creuset Dutch Oven. I did buy it at the outlet
for a bit under $199, if I recall? But I wouldn't question anyones
purchase of a first quality one at that price or more. They are pieces
one buys for a lifetime of use, IMO. Investment pieces.
