Wow I would have thought that we had come further in 2008 than to throw
digs at someone because of their ethnicity.
How horrible it must be to be that small minded that a person with more
melanin in their skin is still not equal with the people who have a lack
thereof.

It is very sad that we as humans and Americans (where we live in the
land of the free) cannot find our way to get past the looks of another
to form an attack strategy.

Many great people died to try and get this country to be color blind, I
guess they died for nothing if this is the way we talk about people
rather than discuss their merits. Why is it that people have to find
fault in appearance rather than non accomplishments.

Are we really that shallow as Americans.
How about finding a way to have a relevant discussion point rather than
attack points. That is what is wrong with politics today too much attack
not enough stating of position.
Did you all not notice that Palins speech was more of an attack venue
than it was letting us get to know a woman who was little known until 3
weeks ago?
It is sad that we have to reduce ourselves and that she reduced herself
to kindergarten tactics. This was a great chance for her to truly
introduce herself on to the national stage, we already know how the
Repubs feel about the Dems what we needed to know was about this woman
from Alaska. I for one was disappointed, as I waited for her speech to
get to know her and all I got was putting others down.

Oh and now to be even more disappointed by my fellow Americans that can
not seem to grow up.
No wonder our dollar is falling, no wonder we are being taken to the
bank by the foreign oil caucus.. We have become childish Americans that
throw a fit when we don't get our way. We tend to kick scream threaten
and make fun of rather than take action to make this a better America
and world.
